This video tells the story of Carl Tilley's electric vehicle development during the mid 2000s. These cars were built with more modern electric vehicle components that were "off the shelf" items at that time. The Electric Delorean holds the documented land speed record of 136 mph for any DeLorean. This was done at the Tennesse Speedway. The video shows the design specifics of the car.

A New Era-Al Sawyer and Lectra Motors

This is the true story of an electric vehicle pioneer that when into large scale production of electric vehicles in Las Vegas in the early 1980s. This video produced by Liquid Logic Films and OEHCS Publications documents the story of Al Sawyer and Lectra Motors. Charles Amadon joined him in 1980 to form Western Research Industries that developed the first prototype production vehicles. Lectra Motors produced 100s of electric Datsuns during the early 1980s. A number of these vehicles are still on these vehicles are driven daily in Las Vegas. The video shows pictures of one of these cars being driven. These cars met the Department of Energy requirements for electric vehicles. This video is in two parts.

A CHANGE OF PACE-The Story of the Electric Pacer

In 1975 through 1980 Electric AMC Pacers were built by the Electric Vehicle Association (EVA) in Cleveland, OHIO. This video produced by Liquid Logic Films and OEHCS Publications documents one of the first large size electric cars produced after the contrived "Oil Crisis" of the 1970s. It showed that electric vehicle were possible with off the shelf technologies that existed at that time. One of the builders of these cars currently worked for NASA.
